Tomasz Zahorski

Tomasz Zahorski is Board Member at Legia Warszawa – biggest Polish football and multi sports club – as well as CEO of Legia’s subsidiary company responsible for construction and operations of club’s new state of the art training facilities and R&D center. He is also member of the Supervisory Board of Legia Warszawa Basketball.

Tomasz is a general manager and lawyer with over 14 years of experience among others in complex infrastructural projects and a proven track record in sports and entertainment industry including preparations to and staging of major sporting events ( UEFA EURO 2012, EHF EURO 2016), construction and operations of modern multifunctional venues ( including management of PGE National Stadium in Warsaw), as well as advising clubs, sporting federations and governmental authorities.

He is an active member of football industry European leading organizations – European Club Association and European Stadium and Safety Management Association, as well as a guest speaker at International Football Business Institute at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He is a regular speaker at international conferences, seminars and workshops and Polish Ambassador of Sport Tech World Cup within Sport Business Day organized yearly in Eindhoven by Sport eXperience accelerator.

Tomasz is a graduate of Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, Deutsche Rechtschule by Faculty of Law and State Sciences at Friedrich Wilhelm University in Bonn, as well as Center for American Law Studies by Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw and Levin College of Law University of Florida. He has also completed Advanced Management Programme at IESE Business School, University of Navarra and is a member of Attorneys at Law Council in Warsaw.

Nigel Fletcher

Nigel Fletcher is CEO of the International Sports Convention (ISC) since 2010 which is B2B events, education and media company.

He currently holds advisory roles in equality, diversity and inclusion with The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), Football Association of Wales (FAW) and Southampton Football Club.

Nigel was born and educated in Cambridge and has dedicated himself to the Global Sports Industry. He has a BA Hons from Loughborough University, PGCE from University of Oxford (Oriel College), MSc in The Business of Football from Birkbeck College (Football Governance Research Centre), University of London and MBA in Football Industries from the University of Liverpool. The first person globally to attain two football masters degrees. He holds the UEFA B Coaching License, being one of the youngest individuals to complete this in England.

Between 2005-2010, Nigel was employed at FIFA in Zurich overseeing FIFA facilities and investment strategy and during his tenure visited 88 national football associations and all FIFA Confederations numerous times. He was also appointed FIFA lead working directly with the South African government in the 2010 Legacy project. Nigel regularly presented to FIFA, UEFA, other Confederations, National Association committees and was involved in a number of FIFA World Cup operations (Youth, Women and Men). He led the International cross-project programme with World Rugby and International Hockey Federation.

Between 2010 and 2018 – Nigel was appointed Executive Chairman of the European Synthetic Turf Organisation (ESTO). 2 days a week based in Brussels. ESTO is the largest (consolidated revenue) sports trade membership body in sport with a significant remit in football facilities. Developed a number of strategic documents for the EU and lobbied EU bodies about the role of sport in the community.

Nigel was also a trustee for the Sports for Water Foundation in Switzerland and led on their governance and marketing. Charing the organisation between 2011-2012.
Earlier in his career, Nigel was Founder and owner of British Premier Soccer in the UK, which then became one of the largest providers of holiday courses and grassroots programmes in England and was also marketing Director/trustee of The English Sports Association for persons with learning disabilities and advised The Football Association on International projects within FA Learning. He has worked with Cambridge United Football in the Community and Bobby Charlton Soccer Schools as a coach.

With a huge passion for English Football especially grassroots, community development and club culture.

In Nigel spare time tries to find his tennis form, and where time allows lowering his golf handicap.

Nigel supports Cambridge United in English football and is married with 2 children, aged 12 and 9.

Magdalena Żarska

A fan of Legia Warsaw and a Liverpool FC enthusiast – Magda combines her work with a great passion for football. A graduate in sports journalism in Wrocław, she obtained a master’s degree in sports management at the Jagiellonian University. In the meantime, she also studied in Paris and recently completed the UEFA program and the University of Lausanne – Certificate in Sport Management.

Magda began her adventure in Legia with an internship, which she got by beating over 100 candidates as part of the Career Program organized by the Polish Business Council. She took her first steps in her professional career in the Legia Training Center project – the most modern sports center in Poland, and to this day, she is working as a part of the LTC team.

While the first team of Legia plays in European cups, Magda, as a UEFA Competitions Main Contact, coordinates the organization of the matchday at the Legia stadium and the first team’s trips to away matches.

As the Legia SBP 1st and 2nd edition project manager, Magda organized among others all onsite sessions at the Legia stadium and LTC alongside handling the ongoing communication with participants.
